When Noah Robertson and Keith Cozzens launched 3BIRD, they weren’t chasing trends, growth hacks, or viral hype. They were building something that could stand the test of time—an apparel brand rooted in outdoor functionality, refined design, and intentional growth. The result is a men’s lifestyle brand that’s just as at home in the Tetons as it is traveling around the globe.

"We're building something that won't just fade away- a brand and products that can be passed on through generations." That ethos defines every decision at 3BIRD, from materials to marketing.

A Heritage Mindset, Reimagined

Noah, who previously co-founded Mountain Khakis and worked at outdoor staples like Cloudveil and Mammut, saw a gap in the market: rugged, well-built clothing that could go from trail to town without sacrificing aesthetics or values. He joined forces with Keith, a branding veteran with deep experience in cycling, snow, and outdoor hardgoods, to bring 3BIRD to life.

What they created isn’t just another outerwear brand. 3BIRD’s first 20 core styles blend sustainable materials—like SeaWool®, NetPlus®, and organic cotton—with a design philosophy focused on long-term wearability. Their clothes are made to “wear in, not out”, a phrase you’ll hear often from the team.

Not Fast. Not Trendy. Just Right.

3BIRD isn’t trying to be the loudest brand in the room. There are no flashy logo placements or overbuilt tech specs. Instead, the brand thrives on subtlety and trust.

"Our brand isn't about one person. It's about working with good people who are aligned.”

That mindset extends to their customer service. With a warm but unpretentious tone, 3BIRD speaks directly to men who value durability, timeless style, and gear that gets better with age. Think: heritage brands like early Patagonia or Filson, reimagined for today’s multi-functional lives.

Their garments are made to bridge the gap between work, travel, and outdoor play. “From business casual to backyard barbecues —we want you to wear 3BIRD everywhere.”

Built in Jackson, WY—For Everywhere Else

Based in Jackson, Wyoming, 3BIRD is grounded in place but designed for movement. Their target audience? Men aged 25–60 who appreciate clean design, quality materials, and versatility. These are customers who might not climb Everest but still need a wardrobe that can keep up with airport layovers, trailhead beers, and everything in between.

The team isn’t in a rush. They’re building slow, with care—and it shows. From fabric selection to fit testing to founder-led storytelling, 3BIRD is crafting more than clothing. They’re shaping a brand with depth, purpose, and longevity.

Slow Growth, Lasting Impact

3BIRD is proof that not every brand needs to sprint out of the gate. Sometimes, building something lasting means going slow, staying honest, and trusting the process. With deep roots in outdoor culture and a clear vision for the future, 3BIRD is poised to become a staple in the modern man’s wardrobe—and maybe, one day, a heritage brand in its own right.
